Post: Senior Purchase Engineer Experience: Min 3 years with SAP  Job Profile:  Responsible for Purchasing of Non-BOM materials, Capital and Spare Parts Additional responsibilities of some BOM materials & Service order finalization Responsible for Purchasing of Indirect materials (Imports, Capital and Maintenance Spare Parts.) Get quotations from clients/Vendors, making comparative charts along with last Purchase record. Evaluating and negotiating with vendors for price & various other terms & conditions and finalizing the same to meet the requirements. Create Cost comparison sheet and taking Purchase Decision for PO  Generation of Domestic as well as Import Purchase order. Accessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as quality/technology improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc. Sourcing alternative local & overseas vendors for future requirements.
