Senior Executive Accounts
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
o Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and
loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
o Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
2. General Ledger Management:
o Ensure proper maintenance of the general ledger.
o Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
o Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
o Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors and
from customers.
o Maintain and monitor aged receivables and payable reports.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
o Analyze financial trends and suggest improvements or corrective
actions.
5. Tax Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings,
including VAT/GST, income tax, etc.
o Coordinate with auditors for external audit and internal audits.
6. Internal Controls:
o Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the organization’s
assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
7. Financial Analysis:
o Conduct detailed financial analysis to support management’s decision-
making.
o Provide financial insights, cost control measures, and profitability
analysis.
Key Skills:
Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data, spot trends, and prepare
reports.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in managing
financial records.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally,
Navision, office 365 and MS Excel.
Communication Skills: Ability to present financial data in a clear, concise
manner for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting
deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
Experience:
Typically, 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus
on handling senior-level responsibilities.
Previous experience in preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and
working with tax compliance is often required.
Work Environment:
Senior Executive Accountants usually work in an office environment, reporting
to the Finance Manager or CFO
They may interact with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
