Position:           Draftsman/CNC Programmer

Location:          Daman

Experience:      3 - 4 Years

Responsibilities

• Preparing 2D AutoCAD drawings & development drawings in DXF format for various components.
• Nesting of components for optimum utilization of RM & no offcuts.
• Programming for CNC laser cutting
• Tool setting in software for CNC punching machine
• Planning & execution for daily production targets on TPP & laser cutting machine
• Ensure accuracy in programming to avoid rework & rejections by verifying the drawings,data sheet & the program.
• Highlight deviations/discrepancies if any WRT the drawings & data sheets towards theproject.
• Work on data storage system to ensure correct drawing is being utilised during nesting.
• Review stock & ROL for the standard components / parts to avoid excess production of the same on laser cutting & punching.
• Ensure proper handing over of the component to the next station for further process / tothe respective department with documentation.
• Ensure readiness of programs for machine utilisation to the fullest capacity of the laser cutting & punching machines.
• Suggestions towards cost saving & efficiency improvements.
• Generate daily reports to monitor plan Vs actual production on laser cutting machine & punching machine.
• Raise issue slip towards the RM requirements as required.
• Maintain a record for RM consumption on daily basis & make data entry in the system for the production activities.
• Training to the operators to improve quality checks during machine operation. Make necessary formats to generate record towards quality checks.
• Follow-up with maintenance engineer for scheduled maintenance on the machines & ensure timely preventive maintenance of the same.
• Maintain 5S & GMP on shop floor.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of engineering drawings (Ability to read & draw technical drawings)
• Good knowledge & hands on experience on AutoCAD.
• Hands on experience on AP100 software & nesting software
• Problem solving skills

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary :- Upto 4.00 LPA
