Desired Candidate Profile:

The desired candidate for the Purchase Manager role should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields, with 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing or mechanical industries. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and inventory control skills are essential, along with proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. The candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Job Description:

• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with suppliers of submersible pump components. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Procurement Planning: Forecast material and component requirements based on production needs, and ensure timely procurement to prevent production delays.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Manage procurement budgets, optimize purchasing costs, and implement strategies for cost-saving without compromising quality.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials while minimizing excess stock. Coordinate with production teams for timely replenishment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased components meet required quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, collaborating with quality control teams.
• Vendor Relationship: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers. Resolve any issues promptly and conduct supplier performance reviews regularly.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring effective communication and coordination with other departments, including production and logistics.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, track order statuses, and provide regular reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.
