Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Relations (PR) Manager to shape and maintain the public image of our company. The ideal candidate will develop effective communication strategies, manage media relations, and oversee PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation. This role requires strong networking skills, creativity, and the ability to handle crisis communication with poise.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development
- Design and implement PR strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Develop annual PR plans and budgets in coordination with the marketing team.
- Media Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Arrange and coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and public appearances.
- Content Creation
- Create compelling content for press releases, articles, blog posts, speeches, and social media.
- Ensure all communications reflect the company’s tone and brand identity.
- Campaign Management
- Plan and execute PR campaigns, product launches, and events to increase brand awareness.
- Monitor media coverage and manage PR reporting to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Crisis Communication
- Develop crisis communication plans and act as the company spokesperson during critical situations.
- Manage and mitigate negative publicity, ensuring a consistent and positive brand image.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, branding, and digital teams to ensure cohesive messaging across channels.
- Coordinate with senior leadership to align PR strategies with business objectives.
- Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage.
- Provide detailed reports on PR activities, media metrics, and ROI.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience 5+ years of experience in PR, communications, or media relations, preferably in [industry].
- Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations and networking abilities.
