Position: Assistant Facility Manager
Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and professional Assistant Facility Manager with a Hotel Management background to join our co-working space team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage the operations, tenant coordination, and property management tasks efficiently. A background in hotel management will help bring in strong guest-facing skills and operational expertise, which are essential in creating a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs: Overseeing regular maintenance and ensuring the hotel’s physical infrastructure (e.g., plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC) is in good working order.
Housekeeping Coordination: Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations. Conducting regular safety drills and inspections.
Energy Management: Managing energy consumption (e.g., lighting, heating, air conditioning) and implementing sustainability measures to reduce costs and environmental impact.
Vendor & Supplier Management: Managing contracts with external service providers for cleaning, landscaping, security, and other hotel services.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Developing and managing the facility budget, identifying areas for cost reduction, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Security & Emergency Preparedness: Overseeing security services to ensure guest and staff safety and preparing for emergencies like fires, medical emergencies, or natural disasters.
