Hiring for the upcoming plant in Beed MH of Manufacturing Edible Oils, Refineries, Coconut Oil
Post: Plant Head
Level: Manager / Senior Manager
Job Profile:
- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers- expectations
- Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
Job brief:
- Factory Head will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
Responsibilities :
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
Key Results Areas:
Production planning daily/weekly/monthly with available resources to meet production demand
Manpower planning.
Production execution and supplying requisite quantities of various sku.
Resource mobilization & completion of the target.
Ability to provide support to Officers and supervisors for production planning, production prioritizing improvement and other issues related to Dept. and to share information /opinion and to make proposals in respect of above.
Job allocation, target setting, motivation, team building, decision making on production related issues, maintain discipline and morale, providing competence development & contribution and work system improvement & development initiatives.
Co-ordination with another internal dept. HR- for manpower planning, training, job position proposals, Engg- preventive maintenance, Accounts- monthly production, yield & wastage,
Shop floor maintenance & co-ordination with Quality/Engg./Stores/Purchase for the smooth running of production. Documentation of product technology dockets.
Co-ordinate Wastage Reduction & Yield Enhancements
Responsible for entire production operations for filling and packaging of Hair oil and water based products-
- Planning & scheduling as per filling plan
- Alignment with HO supply chain for SKU and Production planning
Review with production and maintenance team
Identification and deployment of improvement & cost saving projects
Driving Q-module and process as per Quality guideline.
Identification and projection Quality improvement Projects based of market feedback.
Mentoring Process Circle team (TPM/Act Now) at plant and 3p level.
Corrective and preventive actions of customer and market complaints.
Heading of New Marico/3rd Party projects right from asset procurements to filling stabilization.
Risk assessment and mitigation as per standard at sites.
Responsibility to develop and skill enhancement of team members
Responsible for plant maintenance and utility, projects, preparing and implementing plant Maint. Schedule
Vendor negotiations for procurement of spares for maintenance/Project assets
Capacity and space planning
Handling water based product like set wet, Parachute after shower cream, Livon, SNS, Medicare and Hair oil like a parachute , hair n care, Nihar jasmine
Heading two filling operations
Successful Commissioning and stabilized water base product for Revive, after shower cream and Body lotion start from Mfg setup to filling lines
Successful commissioning and stabilized high speed filling lines for hair oil operation
Responsible for Allocation of Production Plan between 3P Locations basis Business Share
Planning & Scheduling of all Co-Packer Locations & Dedicated job Work Supplier
Monthly materials planning and Supply Scheduling for domestic and export market.
Sourcing of PM from both Outright as well as Conversion basis suppliers, as per sourcing strategy.
Capacity Planning based on volumes projections & basis New Filling Line planning.
Capacity Augmentation through Capex Purchase.
Creating Flexibility through detailed BCP Analysis and implementation for all SKUs and for all vendors.
