SR.DRAWING ENGINEER

• Design and drafting:

  Develop 2D and 3D drawings based on engineering specifications, including detailed dimensions, annotations, and tolerances using CAD software. 

   
• Technical accuracy:

  Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, company design guidelines, and relevant building codes. 

   
• Collaboration:

  Work closely with other engineers (mechanical, electrical, civil) to incorporate feedback and integrate design elements into the overall project. 

   
• Revision management:

  Update drawings based on design changes, track revisions, and maintain proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle. 

   
• Detailing:

  Create detailed assembly drawings, component drawings, and section views to clearly communicate design intent. 

   
• Material selection:

  Specify materials and finishes for components based on project requirements. 

   
• Quality control:

  Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and potential errors before final release. 

   
• Technical documentation:

  Prepare technical drawing packages with necessary annotations, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and other supporting documentation. 

   

• Proficiency in CAD software: Expert level knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software. 
   
• Engineering principles: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering principles depending on the industry. 
   
• Attention to detail: High level of accuracy and precision when creating drawings. 
   
• Technical drawing standards: Familiarity with industry-specific drawing standards and conventions 
   
• Communication skills: Effective communication with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to clarify design intent 
   
• Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve design issues during the drawing process
