Job Summary:
The Senior Relationship Manager (SR RM) – Large Corporate is responsible for managing and growing relationships with large corporate clients by offering tailored financial solutions, with a primary focus on working capital financing, trade finance, and treasury solutions. The SR RM plays a key role in driving revenue, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance while delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with large corporate clients to understand their business needs and financial requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering customized banking solutions.
- Cross-sell a wide range of banking products, including working capital financing, cash management, treasury, and trade finance solutions.
- Drive client acquisition by identifying new business opportunities and onboarding high-value corporate clients.
2. Working Capital & Credit Solutions
- Structure and deliver working capital solutions such as overdraft (OD), cash credit (CC), bill discounting, invoice financing, and supply chain financing.
- Conduct credit analysis, due diligence, and financial statement assessment to ensure sound lending decisions.
- Prepare credit proposals, risk assessments, and loan documentation for internal approvals.
- Monitor client accounts for early warning signs of credit risk and proactively mitigate potential issues.
3. Revenue & Business Growth
- Achieve assigned financial targets, including revenue, profitability, and asset book growth.
- Develop strategies to increase wallet share and deepen client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (trade finance, treasury, risk, and operations) to deliver seamless banking solutions.
- Negotiate deal structures, pricing, and terms to maximize returns for the bank while ensuring client satisfaction.
4. Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure strict adherence to KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Regularly assess the financial health of corporate clients and track their repayment behavior.
- Work closely with risk and legal teams to structure credit facilities in a risk-mitigated manner.
- Manage non-performing assets (NPA) and take proactive steps to minimize bad loans.
5. Market & Industry Analysis
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and economic factors affecting corporate clients.
- Conduct industry research to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Provide strategic insights to clients to help them optimize their financial and working capital requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or equivalent banking/finance qualifications.
- Experience: 7+ years in corporate banking, credit, or working capital finance with a proven track record in large corporate relationship management.
- Industry Exposure: Preferably from banking, financial services, or a corporate lending background.
