Hiring for the upcoming plant in Aurangabad MH of Manufacturing Edible Oils, Refineries, Coconut Oil
Post: Purchase Manager
Level: Asst Mgr/Manager
Experience: Min 8 Years in Manufacturing Edible Oils, Refineries, Coconut Oil
- Co-ordinate all purchase activities at various locations& fulfillment of material requirements as per production plan.
- Purchasing activities involve the planning, coordination with various internal teams& delivery of packing material, chemicals and engineering
- Formulate purchase/ sourcing strategies, vendor identification/ development, supply chain management.
- Adaption of cost-saving initiatives resulting in a reduction of cost-effectiveness and better service from supplier.
- Identifying and developing potential vendors/ suppliers for achieving cost-effective purchase.
- Assessing the performance of the vendor, management of inventory and timely delivery of material
- Keep track on quality, delivery, credit terms, response & technology etc.
- Finalization of quality plans, a release of schedules, timely delivery & payments of vendor
- Planning and scheduling requirement of material depending on sales
- Streamline the system and procedures for effective inventory control for ensuring the ready availability of material to meet the production target.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
