Video Editor

Job Description:

• Edit raw footage from weddings and events into short highlight reels and longer, comprehensive video narratives

 • Collaborate closely with videographers and other team members to understand and achieve the desired vision for each project.

• Utilize creative editing techniques, including but not limited to color grading, sound design, and seamless transitions, to enhance the overall impact of the final product.

• Ensure that all videos meet the company's quality standards and reflect our brand's aesthetic and storytelling style.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Work closely with clients, when necessary, to incorporate specific requests and feedback into the editing process.

SKILL SET CHECK:

• Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to convey emotions and narratives through video

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing your work in event and/or wedding videography.

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe premiere pro, Adobe after effects) and other post-production tools.

• Detail-oriented with a critical eye for visual aesthetics

. • Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within a team.

• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or related field is preferred but not required
