Job Description:

Looking for a IMS-L1/L2 Support Engineer 

Client is a leading Telecom Giant in Japan

Experience : 3+ Years

 

Location: Tokyo, Japan ( onsite)

 

Key Responsibilities :

Regular 8x5 operations along with oncall or availability for night activities.
Troubleshooting escalations.
Follow up until resolution within SLA.
Maintenance activities check, validation and informing stakeholders within
SLA.
IMS nodes O&M.
KPI SLA Reporting.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE &
EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of experience in mobile core network operations.
Experience python programming.
AI and Machine Learning Knowledge
Familiarity with Observability Tools
Automation Experience
Tool Development Skills
Experience programming language.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE &
EXPERIENCE:

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex issues, identify patterns, and propose innovative solutions.
Has the Ability to create compelling product presentations
Experience with big data platforms and analytics tools
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker or Kubernetes) for network orchestration and scalability.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, CKA, OpenStack COA is advantageous.
CI/CD, Jenkins knowledge
Knowledge of network security principles and experience with security automation.
Able to communicate clearly and concisely in English and Japanese (verbal and written).
