Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2 RCS operation
Engineer to join our client. The ideal candidate will possess excellent
technical knowledge and proficiency in RCS, IMS, and messaging. Fluency
in English is essential for effective communication with our partners and
internal teams. Japanese language is a plus.

Client is a leading Telecom Giant in Japan

Location: Tokyo, Japan ( onsite)

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the day-to-day operation and support all RCS nodes in the network.
Manage operational tasks with Incident, Ticket and Change Management process
Provide Level 2 support for Mavenir RCS/Messaging products, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to
Diameter, VOLTE, SIP, and other associated protocols.
Manage and resolve complex customer issues escalated from the Monitoring support team or L1.
Monitor and troubleshoot voice and messaging related incidents to identify the root cause and ensure swift and effective
resolution.
Perform regular technical analysis/audit to ensure the optimization and quality of the services.
Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and vendors to resolve escalated technical issues and implement corrective
actions.
Conduct testing (QA/Productions) and verification of any implemented changes in configurations to ensure they meet
regulatory and service requirements

Required Knowledge and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in mobile core network operations / Planning
Deep understanding of mobile network related protocols and technologies such as SS7, Diameter, GTP, MAP, SIP, RTCP,
RTP and IP-based protocols and HTTP/HTTS, h.248.
Strong technical knowledge on VoIP, LTE, VoLTE/IMS, including core network elements, architecture, and call flows.
Mavenir Cloud products experience and knowledge.
RCS on Mavenir products experience is highly appreciated.
Experience in at least 3 Mavenir products from the below list: WRG, UCC, RMS/ RCS Messaging, TAS/ RCS_VOICE,
IMC/RCS_CORE, WSG, SDC, PRX, MSTORE, DSN, MTCIL(Mavenir Telecom Cloud Integration Layer), PCS, Analytic, XMS,
MCU, MSRB, Cassandra DB, CRDL DB, Scylla DB.

 

Required Knowledge and Experience:


Experience with monitoring tools, troubleshooting techniques, and performance analysis.
Proficient in using industry-standard tools for analyzing KPIs and metrics, trace reading and troubleshooting.
Method of Procedure(MOP) preparation, validation, and execution experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering highquality results
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Automation, scripting or programming experience.
Working experience on OpenStack or Kubernetes.
Certifications or Trainings CCNA, CKA, OpenStack COA is advantageous
