Senior Executive Sampling _Kolkata

Position Purpose:

To plan, handle and monitor new product development, ensure timely dispatch of all samples for example (development sample, size sets, pre-production samples and photo shoot samples.) that are QA certified within the stipulated time.  He/She acts as a liaison between merchant and sampling. Entrusted to provide accurate status, timely to the merchant.

Job Description:

• Planning, handling and monitoring new product development.
• Checking the accuracy of sample request forms with BOM and tech packs. Informing merchants of inaccuracies within 48hours of receipt of SRF and get the amended forms from merchant within 24 hours of intimation.
• Checking accuracy of tech pack for construction details, stitching details, trims and embellishments prior to sample being loaded on the sampling floor. In case of inaccuracies, inform the merchant about corrections, changes as suggested by the technical head within 24 hours of intimation.
• Assigning priorities based on sample urgency to pattern, cutting, stores, sewing operators and quality teams and follow up with each department to ensure the priorities are met.
• Conducting PPM with sampling team based on tech pack and customer requirement.
• Ensure the stores are issuing correct fabric and trims based on BOM issued.
• Maintaining regular follow-up of the required samples with sampling supervisor.
• Maintaining regular follow-up with quality department for quality analysis reports on samples, for timely dispatch of samples.
• Updating the sample status on daily basis on the sampling report.
