Operating the crane:Precisely controlling the crane's movements to lift, lower, and position loads according to instructions from site personnel.

Load assessment:Inspecting loads to ensure they are within the crane's lifting capacity and properly secured before lifting.

Signal communication:Maintaining clear communication with ground crew through hand signals or radio to coordinate crane movements.

Safety checks:Performing daily pre-shift inspections of the crane to identify any potential mechanical issues and ensuring all safety devices are functional.

Site awareness:Maintaining awareness of surrounding work areas, obstacles, and personnel to operate the crane safely.
