- Incident investigation: Determine the causes of accidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions

- Safety communication: Communicate safety solutions to employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders
- Safety culture promotion: Ensure that safety standards are met and that employees wear protective gear
- Employee education: Teach employees how to use equipment and machinery safely
- Safety program development: Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs
- Safety protocol improvement: Recommend improvements to safety procedures and processes
