Gantry Operator - HPS/2025/97

Job Description:

• Operating the crane:

  Maneuvering the gantry crane to position it accurately for lifting and moving loads, including controlling the hoisting mechanism to raise and lower materials. 

   
• Load securing:

  Ensuring loads are properly secured to the crane hook before lifting, verifying weight limits and stability. 

   
• Signal communication:

  Following hand signals from ground personnel (slingers) to guide the crane movements and load placement. 

   
• Safety checks:

  Performing pre-shift inspections of the crane, including checking for operational functionality, brakes, and safety devices. 

   
• Maintenance:

  Performing basic maintenance tasks like lubrication and cleaning of crane components.
