Operating the band saw:Load materials onto the table, adjust cutting parameters (blade speed, feed rate), and operate the band saw to make precise cuts according to blueprints or work orders.

Quality control:Regularly inspect cuts for accuracy, dimension, and surface finish, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Material handling:Securely load and unload materials onto the band saw table, including lifting and maneuvering heavy pieces.

Maintenance and setup:Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting the band saw blade, adjusting tension, and replacing blades as needed.

Reading blueprints and work instructions:Interpret technical drawings and work orders to understand cutting requirements and specifications.

Measuring and inspecting:Utilize measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions of cut materials.
