Job Title: Logistics Executive

Location: Durgapur, Uluberia, Kharagpur

Job Summary:

It is for the parent company which is into transportation & logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Executive to manage the transportation of finished steel products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for arranging trucks from the market and ensuring smooth dispatch from Durgapur, Uluberia, and Kharagpur to various destinations in NCR and UP.

Key Responsibilities:

Arrange trucks and trailers for transporting finished steel products.

Coordinate with local truck and trailer brokers/owners to ensure timely dispatch.

Plan and execute logistics operations efficiently to meet delivery timelines.

Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality.

Maintain relationships with transport vendors and negotiate competitive freight rates.

Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Handle any logistics-related issues and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth operations.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the steel industry.

Strong network of truck and trailer brokers/owners.

Experience in logistics planning and dispatch.

Ability to handle multiple transport operations efficiently.

Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Qualification: Any graduate

Interview Process: First telephonic interview, followed by in-person interview if required.
