Job Description:
Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the North India region to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across various industries, including power plants, refineries, oil & gas, food & beverage, and public health.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Drive sales efforts to expand the customer base, increase market share, and maximize opportunities for Company products and services.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and stakeholders in the region.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide technical and product expertise to customers, offering tailored solutions for their water treatment needs.
Sales Target Achievement & Reporting:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs as set by the management team.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to stay on track with objectives.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the engineering, and technical departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise:
- Stay updated on the latest products, technologies, and industry standards in water treatment and electrochemical systems.
- Conduct product demos, presentations, and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales management, with at least 3 years in the water treatment, industrial equipment, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies, including electrochlorination and effluent treatment (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and sales cycles simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
- MBA or advanced degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (optional but preferred).
Location & Travel:
- Based in Delhi, with frequent travel within the region and occasional national/international travel.
Other:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
