Job Summary

The Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and ensuring the availability of quality materials at the best prices. They will develop purchasing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to optimize costs and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Source reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, and other required goods.
• Maintain supplier databases and evaluate vendor performance regularly.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Evaluate and onboard new vendors based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Cost & Budget Management:

• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets for procurement activities.
• Track and report on procurement expenses and savings.

Inventory & Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory management.
• Address supply chain disruptions and find alternative solutions when necessary.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Oversee purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts for accuracy.
