Position:         Plant Head

Location:        Dahej near by Bharuch

Experience:    18 - 20 Years

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the metal drums manufacturing plant.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Implement and monitor production schedules, including raw material procurement, inventory management, and output delivery.

Team Leadership:

• Manage a team of supervisors, operators, technicians, and other plant staff.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
• Conduct performance evaluations, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Process Optimization:

• Analyze production processes for opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and optimize workflows.
• Identify and implement improvements in production technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices in metal drum manufacturing.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, local safety standards, environmental laws).
• Oversee quality assurance processes to guarantee the final product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Handle customer complaints or quality-related issues in collaboration with relevant departments.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Implement and ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in the plant.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to minimize workplace hazards.
• Promote a safe working environment through training and awareness programs.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource utilization.
• Monitor operating costs and identify cost-saving measures.

Reporting & Coordination:

• Provide regular reports on plant performance, production status, quality control, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with senior management to align plant activities with overall business objectives.

Maintenance & Equipment:

• Oversee the maintenance of machinery and plant infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally, and necessary repairs and upgrades are carried out on time.
