Job Title: Import Documentation Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Customs Tariff Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise in understanding and applying custom tariff regulations.
• Documentation Handling: Manage both air and sea import documentation related to customs clearance.
• Pre & Post Import Documentation: Prepare and process pre and post-import documents for customs clearance, including:
  • Preparation of the checklist.
  • Online filing of the Bill of Entry (BoE).
  • Passing the Bill of Entry on ICEGATE.
• E-Sanchit Procedure: Coordinate and prepare documents for E-Sanchit submission on ICEGATE.
• Shipping Line Coordination: Follow up with the shipping line for arrival details, IGM (Import General Manifest), ITEM, shipping charges, etc.
• Delivery Order Process: Arrange necessary documents and payments for the Delivery Order (D/O) and manage the entire process for D/O.
• Tax & Duty Calculation: Calculate and process applicable taxes and duties.
• CFS Coordination: Follow up with the Container Freight Station (CFS) regarding the arrival of containers and ensure smooth processing.
• Record Management: Update and maintain all records related to import documentation.
• Field Staff Coordination: Send required documents to field staff for customs clearance.
• Dock Coordination: Coordinate with the dock personnel regarding import documentation.
• Shipping Line / CFS Scrutiny: Liaise with the shipping line/CFS for document scrutiny and resolution of any discrepancies.
• Daily Reporting: Send the updated Daily Status Report (DSR) to the management regularly.
• MIS Reporting: Maintain and send the MIS report for all shipments to clients on a daily basis.
• Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the management on a time-to-time basis.
