Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Diagnose and fix malfunctioning systems
- Ensure work complies with relevant codes
- Maintain records and files, prepare reports, and order supplies
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Install, upgrade, and replace electrical components and electronic instruments
- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment's electrical, electromechanical, and electronic components
Skills and knowledge
- Expertise in various electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations
- Familiar with schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems
- Skilled in wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance
