Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, specifically focusing on inventory management, financial reporting, and compliance with GST and e-Way bill regulations. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Accounting:

    • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the integrity of the company's financial data.
    • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
    • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  2. Inventory Management:

    • Track and manage inventory, ensuring accurate reporting of stock levels.
    • Coordinate with the procurement team to manage inventory costs and turnover.
  3. GST Compliance:

    • Prepare and file GST returns in a timely manner.
    • Ensure compliance with all GST-related regulations and stay updated on changes in tax laws.
  4. e-Way Billing:

    • Generate and manage e-Way bills for the transportation of goods.
    • Ensure compliance with e-Way bill requirements under the GST regime.
    • Maintain accurate records of all e-Way bills and ensure timely generation for all dispatches.
  5. Financial Analysis:

    • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  6. Audit and Compliance:

    • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  7. Other Duties:

    • Liaise with other departments for financial data collection and reporting.
    • Provide support during the annual budgeting process.
    • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
