Sr. Manager Finance & Accounts
Job Description:
Senior Manager Finance will lead & supports financial management and compliance. It involves managing financials of the aviation business verticals, developing financial strategies, validating the P&L Accounts, preparing productivity reports including trend analysis and overseeing high-priority productivity projects. Furthermore, the position plays a critical role in cash flow forecasting and monitoring key (CCC) cash conversion cycle working capital metrics. It is responsible for driving various business verticals’ cost efficiency, enhancing operational performance, and providing financial analysis to support investment and capacity-related decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop long-term financial strategies for business verticals initiatives, including cost projections, ROI analysis, and financial feasibility assessments which is aligned with company’s vision
- Identifying efficiencies and developing and proposing solutions and options to resolve/progress concerns to a satisfactory outcome.
- Support procurement team in contract negotiations to get the most efficient cost from ancillary vendors and build proposals for approval from senior management.
- Maintaining strong relationship with key internal stakeholders including the Business leaders, the Corporate Finance and the management.
- Maintaining strong relationship with key clients and ensuring smooth and compliant invoicing process.
- Driving and managing client debt and cash recovery within payment terms.
- Being able to prepare tax computations and file returns.
- Communicating and cooperating with external tax, GST, accounting, and legal consultants.
- Preparing calculations, income and social taxes and other necessary adjustments.
- Acting as point of contact for all payroll related queries.
- Working under tight deadlines to provide accurate and monthly reports to the management.
- Budgeting and monthly forecasting, including cash flow forecasts.
- Overviewing, analysis, and quality control of commercial, financial and management reports.
- Preparing commercial/bid support to project directors/ leaders as required.
- Ensuring project/commercial teams have project workbooks in place and review the same monthly with project teams.
- Timely/responsive and accurate feedback to queries from Corporate Finance.
- Leading the year-end close.
- Leading the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process.
- Leading a finance team, presently 1-2 members.
Work Environment: May involve 2-3 days travel on monthly basis to business units in India
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Qualified CA or MBA in Finance
- 10+ Years of experience in finance and accounting as per India accounting standard & IFRS.
- Experience in the use of computer software products including Microsoft word.
- Professional knowledge in financial accounting, corporation tax, income tax, GST.
- Experience in managing a team of direct reports, demonstrating effective leadership to ensure excellence in delivery championing a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities.
- Proven team management skills and ability to manage, delegate, motivate and involve direct reports.
- Ability to use initiative, anticipate issues and develop common sense, practical solutions to deliver high quality output to tight deadlines.

- Financial Application: Strong Financial modelling, Excel and PowerPoint skills
