Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management:
    • Overseeing the daily activities of the plant, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
    • Managing production schedules, inventory control, and logistics.
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Safety and Quality:
    • Prioritizing safety and implementing safety protocols within the plant.
    • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.
    • Monitoring and improving plant processes to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Leading and motivating plant personnel.
    • Providing training and development opportunities for employees.
    • Resolving employee issues and building a positive work environment.
  • Performance and Improvement:
    • Monitoring and analyzing production performance metrics.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
    • Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Financial Management:
    • Managing the plant budget and controlling costs.
    • Preparing and analyzing financial reports.
  • Other Potential Duties:
    • Working with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and quality control.
    • Representing the plant in meetings and communications with customers and suppliers.
    • Ensuring adherence to environmental regulations. 
       
 
 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business).
  • Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial operations management.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills
