Job Description:
The Supermarket Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, managing a team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory control. The role involves managing fresh food departments, ensuring hygiene standards, handling stock levels, promoting sales, and maintaining safety compliance. The manager will be expected to lead staff effectively, optimize store performance, and implement marketing strategies to boost sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training.
Ensure a high standard of customer service, resolving complaints and issues as they arise.
Maintain inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage of products.
Manage fresh food departments, ensuring products meet quality and hygiene standards.
Promote store sales through effective marketing and customer engagement.
Monitor and manage damages, losses, and safety compliance within the store.
Prepare reports on store performance and suggest improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in store operations management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong staff leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
