Job Title: Planner
Job Location: Saudi Arabia
Year of Experience: Minimum 5 years
Salary: 7000 SAR gross
Working hours: 8 hours/ day, 6 days/week
Roles and Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Schedule Preparation: Develop and prepare a detailed schedule based on Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities, ensuring that all tasks are aligned with the work orders. Prepare a seven-week look-ahead schedule to manage upcoming tasks and optimize resource allocation.
- Coordination: Act as a liaison between planners and supervisors to ensure smooth job coordination. Facilitate communication to ensure that all tasks are planned and executed as per the established schedule.
- Compliance Reporting: Prepare compliance reports to evaluate an review project performance, highlighting key metrics and areas of improvement. Provide regular updates on the progress of scheduled tasks.
- Schedule Adjustments: Make necessary changes and updates to the schedule to accommodate emergency plant requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track the progress of work orders, ensuring that all planned activities are completed on time and within budget. Provide updates on any delays or issues that may impact the schedule.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure all activities are on track and any scheduling conflicts are resolved promptly.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, maintenance planning, or coordination in a plant or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling techniques, including look-ahead schedules and resource allocation.
- Experience in coordinating with both planners and supervisors to ensure seamless execution of schedules.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to report on project performance and adjustments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle emergency scheduling requests promptly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certification or training in project management or scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) is a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or plant environment is highly desirable.
