Job Description:

Job Summary
The Logistics and Import-Export Executive will oversee and manage the company's
logistics and import-export operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement
of goods across domestic and international borders. This role requires attention to
detail, strong organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of trade
compliance and shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Management

1. Coordinate and oversee domestic and international transportation of goods.
2. Maintain inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery to customers and
stakeholders.
3. Liaise with vendors, freight forwarders, and shipping companies to negotiate
rates and secure optimal service.
4. Plan and monitor the movement of goods to ensure cost efficiency and timely
delivery.

Import-Export Operations

1. Prepare and process all documentation for import/export shipments, including
invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
2. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs
requirements.
3. Track and monitor shipments, resolving issues such as delays, damages, or
misrouted goods.
4. Manage and ensure adherence to Incoterms and trade terms in contracts.
Regulatory Compliance
1. Stay updated on changes in import/export laws and regulations.
2. Ensure proper licensing, permits, and documentation for shipments.
3. Manage relationships with customs brokers and regulatory bodies.

Process Improvement
1. Identify inefficiencies in logistics and propose process improvements.
2. Develop and implement strategies to reduce transportation costs while
maintaining quality service.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Reporting and Analysis
1. Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and transportation metrics.
2. Generate periodic reports on logistics and trade performance for management
review.

Key Qualifications
Education:
 Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a
related field experience

Experience:
 2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import-export operations.
 Proven track record of managing international shipments and customs
processes.

Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of logistics and international trade regulations.
2. Proficiency in documentation tools and ERP systems.
3. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
4. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
5. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Technical Skills:
 Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and export/import documentation.
 Experience with shipment tracking systems and supply chain software.

Work Environment
 Primarily office-based, with occasional travel to warehouses, ports, or supplier
sites as needed.

 Fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
