Cash Supervisior

Job Description:

The Supermarket Cash Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operaƟ ons of the
supermarket’s cashier team. This includes supervising cashiers, managing cash register
operaƟ ons, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining cash handling standards. The
role involves training, coaching, and supporƟ ng staff to meet company standards while also
ensuring that customers experience a posiƟ ve and efficient checkout process.
Key ResponsibiliƟ es:
1. Supervision of Cashiers:
o Oversee the cash related operaƟ ons and cashier team, ensuring efficient and
smooth transacƟ ons.
o Train, guide, and mentor cashiers in proper checkout procedures and customer
service protocols.
o Assign cashiers to appropriate registers, ensuring proper coverage during peak
hours.
o Ensure that cashiers follow store policies and procedures for handling money and
transacƟ ons.
2. Customer Service:
o Ensure that cashiers provide outstanding customer service, including assisƟ ng
with complaints and resolving issues effecƟ vely.
o Address customer queries, ensuring a posiƟ ve shopping experience.
