Job Title: Accounts Executive / Assistant Accounts Manager (Portfolio/Investment Management)

Core Responsibilities

 

The primary duties revolve around managing money and financial assets. This includes:

  • Investment & Portfolio Management: This involves overseeing various investments like stocks, bonds, and other securities. The goal is to grow the portfolio's value while managing risk. A key part of this is Risk Management, which means identifying and mitigating potential risks to the portfolio.

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: This person would analyze financial data to identify investment opportunities and report on the performance of the portfolio. This includes tasks like Financial Modeling, which uses data to predict future financial outcomes, and Budgeting & Forecasting, which helps in planning future spending and revenues.

  • Cash & Asset Management: This involves managing the company's cash flow and other assets efficiently to ensure liquidity and profitability. It also includes ensuring Compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations.


 

Required Skills & Traits

 

To succeed in this role, a person needs a mix of technical and soft skills:

  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze market trends, financial data, and investment opportunities is crucial. This is directly related to Data Analysis and financial modeling.

  • Technical Proficiency: The job requires proficiency in tools like MS Office, especially Excel, for tasks like data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

  • Communication Skills: The person must be able to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, including senior management and investors. This includes strong Communication and Presentation Skills.
