Job Description:

 Operations Manager Operations Manager ensures a wedding runs smoothly by overseeing all logistical aspects, from venue setup and vendor coordination to managing staff and addressing any issues that arise, ensuring a positive experience for the couple and guests

  • venue Management:
    Oversee the venue's setup, ensuring it aligns with the wedding plans and client expectations. 
     
  • Vendor Coordination:
    Work closely with vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, etc.) to ensure timely arrival, proper setup, and smooth execution of their services. 
     
  • Staff Management:
    Manage and coordinate the wedding day staff, including event staff, bartenders, and security, to ensure smooth operations. 
     
  • Logistics and Timeline:
    Develop and maintain a detailed wedding timeline, ensuring all events and activities run on schedule. 
     
  • Problem Solving:
    Address any unexpected issues or challenges that arise during the wedding day, finding solutions quickly and efficiently. 
     
  • Client Communication:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for the couple and their guests, addressing their needs and concerns. 
     
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of all wedding details, including vendor contracts, timelines, and event orders. 
     
  • Quality Control:
    Ensure all aspects of the wedding meet the required standards of quality and professionalism. 
     
  • Post-Event Tasks:
    Oversee the breakdown and cleanup of the venue after the wedding

Vendor and Personnel Coordination:

Facilitate coordination and communication between all vendors (caterers, sound and light vendors, etc) and

clients Key Responsibilities

Event Readiness: Ensuring the venue is prepared to host an event, guarantee cleanliness and all health, safety measures are fulfilled

Client Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, highlighting key venue features and negotiating pricing.

 

4+ Years of Experience in Events and/or Hospitality preferred. Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills. Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders such as decor vendors, caterers, and clients. Willingness to work flexible hours and stay on-site as needed during events. Self-driven, Detail-Oriented, and Proactive
