Job Description:

Role & responsibilities

 

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing procurement operations, ensuring

a secure supply chain, maintaining supplier relationships, and optimizing costs while upholding

quality and ethical standards. The role requires strategic planning, risk management, and

leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Security & Risk Management

  • Ensure the uninterrupted supply of materials/products by identifying and

mitigating procurement risks.

  • Develop strategies to secure reliable sources for key categories.

2. Supplier Relationship Management

  • Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term

partnerships.

  • Negotiate favourable terms, pricing, and contracts while ensuring compliance

with company policies.

3. Quality Assurance

  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product and material

quality standards are met.

  • Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.

4. Innovation & Technology Utilization.

Identify and introduce new technologies and innovations to improve

procurement processes.

  • Leverage data analytics and automation tools to optimize supply chain

performance.

5. Cost Control & Optimization

  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality

and supply security.

  • Monitor market trends and optimize procurement strategies accordingly.

6. Inventory Management

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to enhance inventory efficiency.

7. Ethics & Compliance

  • Promote ethical procurement practices and adherence to company values.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines.
