Job Description:

Basic Function: The CFO is accountable for the administrative, financial, And risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a Financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the on-going Development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company Assets and report accurate financial results. Principal accountabilities are:

Planning

  1. develop financial and tax strategies

 

  1. Manage the capital required and budgeting processes

 

  1. Develop performance measures that support the company & strategic Direction

Operations

 

  1. Facilitate credit rating of the company
  1. Manage the treasury function
  1. Manage cash flow
  1. Implementing budgeting process across the organization
  1. Oversee secretarial functions
  1. Oversee legal issues
  1. Facilitate tax planning
  1. Implement operational best practices
  1. Facilitate in Acquisition of new business, merger, and joint venture to ensure Successful transition with clarity in terms of business deal as also pays back Period as per
  2. Supervise in the event of acquisition due diligence by appropriate 3 rd party and play significant role to negotiate acquisitions and joint
  3. Internal Audit – Strengthen and oversee internal audit function.

Financial Information

  1. Oversee the issuance of financial information
  1. Report financial results to the board of directors and contribute in strategic decision by the board of

Risk Management

 

  1. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company & risk profile
  1. Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the organization
  2. Manage and monitor all legal issues (arbitration, legal, civil, criminal) of the company
  3. Construct and monitor reliable control systems
  1. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  2. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
  3. Create, manage and continuously update risk mitigation for each and every project

Funding

 

  1. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  1. Arrange for financing
  1. Ensure interest cost is maintain below prescribed limit
  1. Forecast future business financial needs and prearrange capital accordingly
  1. Constantly review and monitor current portfolio of funds from different sources
  2. Identify and add new modes and sources of funding Third Parties
  3. Maintain banking relationships
  4. Maintain rating agencies relationship
  5. Maintain Third party (Auditors, Independent Directors, ROC, Others) Relationship

Negotiation skills will be preferred

 

Communicating and getting work done . A GO GETTER WILL BE PREFFERED Good at business development and take up new ideas and develop them Smart and fast to act upon work and organized

Should be adept at hiring and getting work done from the team

 

Strict, punctual and more smarter than MD also. (MD always wants his CEO to be more efficient and smarter than him)

Good financial skills and preferably a CA

 

Good connects everywhere and knowledge of the present market.
