Job Description:

Responsible to oversee the underwriting of loans, coordinate with the Branch Managers and Territory / Area Credit Managers as well as be up to date with on-ground delinquencies trends and market scenarios

Responsible for analyzing the current  trends in specific region or location and providing the related feedback to National Credit Manager as well as to the branches. Providing approvals for proposals in line with credit policy.

Responsible for managing the branch/territory/area team for prompt and quality credit processing, adhering to the credit policy and defined processes and  acquiring sanctioned decisions as per the Credit appraisal process and deviation matrix.

Responsible to review credit evaluation reports, evaluate the borrower risk along with the transaction and underlying security and make recommendations in line with the assessment. Periodically monitor the portfolio quality.

Responsible to collaborate with technical and legal teams for comprehensive assessment for underwriting and maintaining TAT of the complete loan sanctioning timelines as well as stay apprised of the credit policy and raise potential threats if any, based-on the local market feedback and experience.

Accountable to monitor compliance to the credit policy and processes to ensure that the right quality of business is being sourced, and the delinquencies are kept under the identified targets

Responsible to minimize audit deviations by ensuring compliance to all credit related policies and processes for the region/zone and also monitor productivity level of branch credit manager through periodic branch visits for supervision and better oversight.

Accountable to mentor and guide the Branch/Territory/Area Credit Manager for attainment of set targets, discipline, process compliance and adherence to company's rules and regulations.

Responsible to assess the training and development needs and ensuring its implementation in collaboration with Regional HR and Branch Manager.

Responsible to track the training of Management Trainee and ensure that these people are ready to take up the next level role within define time-line by the company.
