Job Description:
Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Location: Saudi Arabia
Year of Experience: Minimum 5 years
Salary: 2800 SAR + FAT
Working hours: 8 hours/ day, 6 days/week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in petrochemical or oil industry settings.
- Ensure electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Perform system upgrades and implement modifications as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Required skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in the petrochemical or oil industry.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage high voltage, and control systems.
- Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and control systems.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific safety protocols and regulations.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Documentation: Proficient in maintaining accurate work logs, reports, and maintenance records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SABIC Affiliates: Previous experience working with SABIC or its affiliated companies is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Relevant electrical certifications or training, such as a recognize electrical engineering degree or certification.
- Technical Software: Familiarity with industry-specific software for maintenance management or automation systems.
