HR Assistant
Job Description:
Position: HR assistant
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Engagement and Support:
- Regularly visit the location to interact with employees and ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Provide day-to-day support to staff, offering guidance on HR policies, company procedures, and work
related issues.
2. Employee Grooming and Development:
- Monitor and advise employees on appropriate grooming and professional conduct to ensure adherence to
company standards.
- Organize and coordinate training programs aimed at the continuous development of local employees’ skills
and knowledge.
- Assist in identifying skill gaps and recommend training solutions.
3. Disciplinary Actions and Documentation:
- Handle disciplinary actions by documenting and reporting employee behavior issues, ensuring compliance
with company policies.
- Support management in conducting investigations into employee misconduct, providing recommendations
for corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all disciplinary actions and employee performance reviews.
4. Attendance and Biometrics Tracking:
- Oversee and maintain records of employee’s biometrics attendance system, ensuring that data is accurately
recorded and updated regularly and address issues related to tardiness or absenteeism.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on key HR metrics, including attendance, training completion, and any
disciplinary actions taken.
- Ensure reports are accurate and submitted on time to the HR manager and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of all HR activities and employee information, ensuring confidentiality and
compliance with legal requirements.
6. Training and Development: - Training Needs Assessment: Identify training needs through surveys, feedback, and performance data. - Training Program Development: Design, develop, and implement training programs to address organizational
needs. -Training Delivery: Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars. - Training Evaluation: Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and metrics. -Training Budget Management: Manage training budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Administrative Responsibilities:
1. Training Calendar Management: Maintain training calendars, schedules, and records.
2. Communication: Coordinate with HOD, trainers, and employees to ensure smooth training operations.
3. Logistics: Arrange training venues, equipment, and materials.
4. Record-Keeping: Maintain
