Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various mechanical systems and equipment. This role demands a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment, including but not limited to pumps, compressors, engines, turbines, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.  
• Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot issues to determine the root cause of problems.P
• Carry out necessary repairs and replacements of mechanical components and parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Use various hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments, to perform tasks accurately.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other technical staff and departments to resolve mechanical issues and improve system performance.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and materials by communicating needs to the relevant departments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and record-keeping is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures.
• Must possess a valid and transferable Iqama in Saudi Arabia.
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: 2500 to 4000 SAR (depending on experience and qualifications)
