Position: Senior Engineer Production
About the responsibilities of the position: The main activity of the production supervisor is that he is responsible for all the shop flower activities as peer following job profile. .
Reporting to: Manager
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in the stream of Mechanical / Production. Or Diploma in Engineering in the stream of Mechanical
Desired Experience: Up to 5 to 10 years experience in a Manufacturing company preferably in a press shop & weld shop
(CTC 35 to 45 K)
Skills Set required/Job Profile :
Supervision / Planning / Handling of press shop & weld shop
Working as the coordinator in TPM activity
Production planning and execution through MRP by SAP also have. Knowledge of KANBAN, inventory control, Tact time
Knowledge and application of the 8-D system for root cause elimination of the Problem.
Also having knowledge and application 7 QC tools such as 5analysis, cause and effect diagram, Pareto analysis, histograms, flowcharts, control charts & scatter diagram.
Initiator and leader of the 5 'S' systems setting 5 'S' culture in the Organization
Worked on SMED project to reduce the die setting time up to nine minutes
Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP etc
Conducting internal quality audits of EMS/OHSAS as a certified internal auditor
Having knowledge of value stream mapping and also worked on a project to improve value addition and lean manufacturing
Having knowledge about MOP
Meeting a daily production schedule
Confirm quality through Routine Checks. (V9)
Interacting service supports department within Plant.
Insuring standards work is followed.
Maintaining 5 “S” in the Work Area
Looking for continuous improvements (Kaizens)
Identifying 16 Major Losses & recording.
Maintaining daily ‘JH’ Checksheets
Ensuring ‘Sensory’ (Comparator) Availability at the work stage
Daily check for produced component w.r.t. ‘Sensory’ for scheduled timings.
Training to workmen for work instructions
Proper documentation for the above work
Responsible for good housekeeping
Shift Planning of Workmen
Achieve Max OEE (above 95%) of the production line.
Able to do Continuous improvement online ( Kaizens) (Suggestions )
