Draftsman – Railway
Job Description:
Desirable/Preferable: Minimum 4 year relevant experience in preparation of Drawings of Railway Projects using latest software, such as CIVIL 3D, BRT etc.
End to end responsible for
- Preparation of railway alignment plan and profile drawings for Railway projects
- Preparation of Engineering Scale plan (ESP)
- Preparation of Major and Minor Bridges and Structures General Arrangement & Reinforcement detail drawings.
- Preparation and regular up-dation of master plans for Railway infrastructure
- Superimposition of drawings on various data sets such as Google Earth images, Topo Sheets, Survey data, revenue maps, Utility maps etc. and Preparation of land plans and assessment of various required details for planning of Railway projects Organizing and Upkeeping of various revisions of drawings
Deliverables / Responsible for (results)
- Preparation of railway alignment plan and profile drawings for Railway projects
- Preparation of Engineering Scale plan (ESP), Bridge & Culvert Drawings, Reinforcement detail drawings for Bridges and structures.
- Preparation and regular up-dation of master plans for Railway infrastructure
- Superimposition of drawings on various data sets such as Google Earth images, Topo Sheets, Survey data, revenue maps, Utility maps etc. and Preparation of land plans and assessment of various required details for planning of Railway projects
- Organizing and Upkeeping of various revisions of drawings
Qualitative aspects
- Knowledge of co-ordinate system
- Knowledge of survey for railway projects
- Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, CIVIL 3D, BRT & GIS
- Knowledge of drawings approval process on Indian Railway
