Job Description:
An Assistant Mine Surveyor in coal mining primarily assists the Mine Surveyor with various surveying tasks, including making measurements, determining property boundaries, and preparing plans and sections. This role supports the accurate surveying of the mine, ensuring compliance with regulations and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Mine Surveyor: Assisting with surveying tasks, including making measurements, leveling, and contouring.
- Preparing Plans and Sections: Creating plans, sections, and tracing as per statutory requirements.
- Surveying and Mapping: Conducting surveys, mapping, and geological exploration programs.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing geospatial data and using surveying instruments and software like AutoCAD and GIS.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with mining regulations and statutory reporting.
- Coordinate with others: Coordinating geological studies and collaborating with contractors.
- Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate records of surveying data and reports.
- Setting out Curves: Assist in setting out curves and other surveying tasks.
Required Skills:
