Job Summary:

We are seeking a competent and organized Store Head to manage all store functions related to coal mining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory, procurement coordination, material issuance, and overall store management to support uninterrupted mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise overall store operations, including inward/outward movement of materials.

• Maintain accurate stock records, issue materials as per indent, and update inventory management systems.

• Ensure timely procurement requisitions and follow up with the purchase department/vendors.

• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels for critical items (spares, consumables, safety equipment, etc.).

• Perform regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.

• Ensure proper storage, stacking, labeling, and preservation of materials as per industry standards.

• Maintain documents such as GRNs, MRNs, issue slips, purchase records, and material return notes.

• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices and inventory optimization.

• Coordinate with departments like mining, maintenance, and administration for material planning and issue.

• Implement safety protocols, housekeeping, and waste material disposal as per compliance norms.
