Job Description:
Overview
To lead end-to-end hiring for our Retail business. This role demands strong stakeholder management, a deep understanding of the retail hiring landscape, and the ability to scale hiring strategies for high-volume, fast-paced, frontline roles across geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Workforce Planning:
- Partner with business leaders to forecast manpower needs aligned with retail expansion and attrition trends.
- Translate business plans into actionable hiring strategies.
- End-to-End Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for frontline and mid-management roles (e.g., Store Managers, Pharmacists).
- Leverage sourcing strategies.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of TA professionals; ensure delivery against hiring SLAs and KPIs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Process Excellence:
- Drive automation and tech adoption in hiring workflows (e.g., AI screening tools, WhatsApp engagement platforms).
- Optimize hiring funnels to reduce time-to-offer and cost-per-hire.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Act as a TA advisor to business leaders, ensuring a consultative approach.
- Manage and evaluate recruitment partners/vendors to ensure quality and TAT adherence.
- Diversity & Employer Branding:
- Drive D&I initiatives in hiring.
- Collaborate with marketing to build employer brand visibility at the grassroots level (e.g., job fairs, campus drives, local sourcing events).
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / MBA with 15-20 yrs of experience with at least 5yrs of experience in Retail Hiring
- Strong people management, stakeholder management and analytical skills
- Ability to manage volume hiring
