Senior Production Merchandiser

Job Description:

• Order Management:

  Handle end-to-end order execution, from initial design development to final shipment, including order confirmation, specification management, and follow-up. 

   
• Material Sourcing:

  Work with suppliers to source raw materials (leather, fabrics, hardware, etc.) in terms of quality, quantity, and cost. 

   
• Costing and Pricing:

  Prepare competitive costings and negotiate pricing with buyers, ensuring profitability. 

   
• Production Planning:

  Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution. 

   
• Quality Control:

  Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet required standards and compliance. 

   
• Supplier and Vendor Liaison:

  Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, resolving issues and ensuring smooth communication. 

   
• Team Leadership:

  Guide and mentor junior merchandisers, providing support and training. 

   
• Problem Solving:

  Identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks in the production process, implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations. 

   
• Market Analysis:

  Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform product development and sales strategies. 

   
• Communication:

  Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including design, production, and quality control teams, as well as buyers and suppliers.
