Job Description:

1. JOB PURPOSE:

Perform electrical and mechanical operations for preventive, corrective, or monitoring maintenance on a range of industrial equipment at the site, following safety regulations and applicable standards.

2. HIERARCHICAL AND FUNCTIONAL LINKS

  • Hierarchical link: Production Head of the site

  • Functional links: Maintenance Manager (France), all managers at the site

  • External relations: Service providers, subcontractors in India

3. MAIN ACTIVITIES

In compliance with the internal regulations, safety rules for himself and others, environmental guidelines, and various instructions:

  • Diagnose malfunctioning of equipment

  • Prepare and carry out (replace, assemble, install, adjust, maintain, and inspect) corrective/preventive/monitoring maintenance interventions on site installations

  • If necessary, submit requests for parts procurement for approval by the COO and the Maintenance Manager (France)

  • Use the Maintenance Management tool

  • Follow the schedule defined by the supervisor and report to relevant stakeholders

  • Carry out and modify installations based on improvement or optimization needs

  • Ensure the resolution of regulatory non-compliance issues

  • Assist colleagues with other tasks, including production activities

4. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

  • Full autonomy to perform the assigned tasks

  • Works in compliance with procedures and deadlines; in case of difficulties, reports to the supervisor

  • Responsible for the availability of equipment, resources, and buildings

  • Ensures the compliance of actions performed and the improvement of resources

  • Responsible for safety

  • Contributes to the overall safety of the company: "Everyone is responsible for safety"

  • Adhere to the company's ethical code

5. SKILLS AND/OR KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of diagnostic methodology and maintenance methods

  • Familiar with the site's organization and installations

  • Professional knowledge in mechanics, electricity, and pneumatics

  • Certifications: CACES R489 (forklift)

  • Electrical qualifications: B0-H0 / BC-HC / B2V-H2-BEV testing / BR

Automation Specialist:

  • Advanced knowledge of automation systems
