Job Description:

Position:        Asst. Manager/Manager - Maintenance (Electrical)

Location:        Vasai

Experience:    10 - 12 Years

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely maintenance of injection moulding machines, including electrical systems, controllers, servo motors, drives, and automation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other control systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Ensure regular inspections of electrical components, wiring, and systems on injection molding machines.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
• Ensure effective delegation of tasks and monitor the team’s performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive maintenance.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with local and international safety standards.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations such as ISO, etc.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of machinery and tools.
• Recommend and manage electrical upgrades or retrofits to improve machine efficiency.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to procure parts and manage spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, machine performance, downtime, and repairs.
• Prepare maintenance reports, analyze trends, and suggest actions for long-term equipment reliability.
• Update and maintain technical documentation, electrical schematics, and manuals.

Required Skills:

• Strong background in working with PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and industrial automation.
• Deep understanding of electrical systems in injection moulding processes.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech - Electrical
