Sr.Senior Software Consultant - Java 17 & Volante

Job Description:

Experience: 4 to 9  years

Location : Remote

Employment Type: C2H (Contract-To-Hire)

Duration : 6 months + Possible Extension

Required skills : 

         Java 17, Microservices, Volante Platform, cloud-native architecture and payment processing systems, designing and developing APIs, microservices, and real-time transaction systems.

Technical Competencies

• Java 17:
  Strong hands-on experience in Java 17 development, including object-oriented design, multi-threading, and performance optimization.

• Volante Platform:
  In-depth knowledge of the Volante cloud-native payment platform, including configuration, integration, and implementation.

• Cloud-Native Architecture & Payment Processing:
  Experience working on cloud-native architectures and real-time payment processing systems is highly preferred.

• API & Microservices:
  Exposure to designing and developing APIs, microservices, and real-time transaction systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Java 17 and related technologies.

• Integrate and configure Volante’s payment platform for financial messaging and processing needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Ensure applications meet high standards of reliability, performance, and security.

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to development best practices.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug applications and platform-level issues.

• Support deployment activities in collaboration with DevOps and QA teams.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

• Stay updated with the latest Java features and Volante platform enhancements to improve solution quality.

Desired Profile

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in fast-paced environments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and manage complex financial/payment systems.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Prior experience in banking, fintech, or payment gateway domains is a significant advantage.
