Purchase Executive - Ahmedabad
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Source stationery products from both domestic and international suppliers, ensuring the best possible prices, quality, and timely delivery to meet retail demands.
Negotiate with foreign suppliers to secure favorable terms, competitive pricing, and advantageous delivery schedules.
Monitor and manage the purchasing cycle, from creating and issuing purchase orders to receiving and inspecting products.
Coordinate the import/export process, including managing customs clearance, shipping, and handling all necessary documentation for international orders.
Collaborate with the retail and merchandising teams to ensure the right mix of products (e.g., pens, paper, office supplies, school supplies) are available in stores, particularly around peak retail seasons like back-to-school.
Maintain optimal stock levels in retail stores and warehouses, analyzing sales trends to ensure inventory turnover is efficient without overstocking.
Conduct regular market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate the latest stationery trends, and explore new products to introduce to the store.
