Airframe Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Airframe Technician to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) team at our Hisar MRO Centre. You will lead the assembly and maintenance of DA series aircraft (DA40 NG, DA42), ensuring structural integrity and airworthiness. With an Indian Air Force background and 10+ years of experience, you’ll contribute to building India’s next-generation aviation hub.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly, manufacturing, maintenance and repair of airframe structures for DA40 NG and DA42 aircraft.
- Conduct inspections, defect rectification, and modifications on airframe components per approved procedures.
- Troubleshoot structural issues, ensuring compliance with DGCA CAR-145 standards.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and update maintenance records in ERP systems.
- Collaborate with MRO teams to optimize assembly and maintenance workflows.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all airframe tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Indian Air Force background in Airframe/Structure Fit Trade.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including airframe and structural work.
- Hands-on experience in Indian Air Force Base Repair Depot (BRD) operations.
- Knowledge of airframe systems, structural repairs, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and OEM specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OEM training on any Transport/Fighter/Helicopter.
- Cross trained on Engine/Propulsion system.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or digital maintenance tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to composite materials and advanced airframe technologies.
